Meta AI is Meta's AI assistant, integrated in WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, Messenger and on meta.ai. It is built on Llama — Meta's open-source language model — and offers a wide range of capabilities: answering questions, searching information, generating images, summarizing content and more. How does Meta AI work?
Meta AI is integrated into the familiar interface of WhatsApp, Instagram and other Meta apps. Users can type "@Meta AI" in any chat to activate the assistant, or communicate directly with the assistant via the dedicated Meta AI chat.
A particularly strong feature is the integration with real-time web search via Bing: Meta AI always has access to current information. The Imagine feature also enables image generation directly from WhatsApp or Instagram.
