What is Zapier?
Zapier is the most widely used no-code automation platform in the world, with more than 2 million active users and integrations with more than 6,000 apps. It allows users to build automatic workflows — "Zaps" — that perform tasks when a specific trigger occurs, without any programming knowledge needed.
How does Zapier work?
A Zap consists of a trigger and one or more actions. When the trigger occurs — e.g. a new form submission in Typeform — Zapier automatically performs the actions: save the data in Google Sheets, send a welcome email via Gmail, add the contact in HubSpot. All without human intervention.
With the introduction of Zapier AI, AI steps can be added to workflows: summarizing text, sentiment analysis, categorizing content, translating — via OpenAI or other AI providers. Zapier Central also provides a conversational interface for building agents via natural language.
