What is Salesforce Einstein?
Salesforce Einstein is the AI layer integrated into the complete Salesforce platform. As one of the most widely used CRM systems in the world, Salesforce has baked AI into Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Commerce Cloud and more. Einstein leverages the enormous amount of customer and transaction data in Salesforce to make predictions, automate workflows and support employees.
How does Einstein work?
Einstein is integrated into the Salesforce interface and works on the organization's data. The system learns patterns from historical data: which leads convert, which deals close, which customers are at risk of churn. Based on this, Einstein generates scores, predictions and recommendations.
Einstein GPT (now branded as Einstein Copilot) adds generative AI: it generates personalized emails for sales reps, summarizes customer service cases, writes marketing content and answers questions via a conversational interface.
